Many claim to be Denver's premier DJ, which is understandable in a city powered by hype.
But one glance at dj DeVonte Luv's impressive list of past and present club residencies
will quickly put all debate to rest.
Of course there are other hot spots in Denver's vast
nightlife sprawl, but guess what? dj DeVonte Luv has been the resident there, too.
Needless to say, no new club opens there without a firm offer to one of Denver's official
Go-To DJ's.
And his reputation as such, compounded with the guaranteed delivery of a
mind-blowing, multi-genre performance, has secured dj DeVonte Luv his weekly Blaze Radio
Show on 95.7 The Party-KPTT (Friday & Saturday), as well as stops at various monthly club
residencies in Denver, San Diego & Las Vegas. His services have been garnered as an opening act from the likes of Kanye
West, Pretty Ricky, Chamillionaire, Montell Jordan, Too Short, Kelly Clarkson, and Hillary
Duff to name a few. His nightly escapades have been documented in publications like The
Denver Post and Westword. In 2009 Shot! Magazine named dj DeVonte Luv Denver‘s #1 Club DJ!.

Since 1998, dj DeVonte Luv has developed a style of mixing and matching songs from
varying directions, from hip hop to rock to house to funk to Retro 80‘s, creating a
potpourri of related sounds, disregarding genre. And the fickle tastes of the nightlife
industry has finally caught up with him. dj DeVonte Luv was also the First dj in Denver
to introduce mixing Music Videos live in the club well he's live on the radio. Currently
dj DeVonte Luv has the biggest Friday night in Denver (2,000 Strong!)! Though a cadre of new jack DJs have
appeared in the recent past, all claiming to present a similar style, very few have honed
the skills or finished their homework. DeVonte Luv is certainly among the small handful
that epitomizes the craft of DJing, materializing each night as a euphonious display of
hands-in-the-air crowd control
